Your South Seas Island vacation begins at the Polynesian Resort, a tropical paradise loaded with fun. It was a very nice time and you will do lots outside so bring a really Big Hat like I did. The Swimming Pool and watersports area is the center of the action.
You can see the Grand Floridian Hotel from the Polynesian Resort pool and beach, it has the white exterior and red roof. Picking between The Hotels is more about availability and price since the disney hotels go from really inexpensive to super expensive.
If you are only staying a night or two it is more about a splurge. For longer trips, the All-Star Music Resort is a winner for more budget focused guests. Find your Disney Hotel price point and go ahead and book! We really had a lot of fun and stayed at the Polynesian Resort for Four Nights, it is easy to recommend a winning location.
Take the time to enjoy the spirit of aloha dinner show. You are greeted by aloha in the main lobby. The Resort boat launch service to the Magic Kingdom was fine and fun! For families to do try the mikala canoe club marina and luau cove.
It was very nice to sit at the beach and watch the electrical water pageant and wishes with a cocktail beverage. Order by the pool american-asian fusion entrees or a burger and fries. Not far is cheap dining like Quiznos or go for the Poolside Bar eating. We never had to wait very long to board a Monorail during our stay.
The patio by the cafe is covered, so it's a really pleasant place to enjoy your meal on days that aren't so hot. Outside, the patio is surrounded by lush, tropical plants and cute little features like the tiki wooden statue. As a bonus, Captain Cook's patio is close enough to the tiki terrace to hear Live Music in the evenings! The pool area and gardens at the Polynesian are so well done that you'll want to enjoy them!
