I did a warm up to Animal Kingdom theme park. Nat geo wild has a super show called eye of the tiger. No wonder Catman-kitty-want-to-be can sleep in all sorts of positions and on the top of the couch. The Tigers sleep way up in trees and somehow manage to not fall. Cats like the chase and catch, the prelude to the kill! You have a rough killer kitty. I will train him as a tiger protege!
Make sure you do not walk past these exhibit areas in too much of a hurry even though you can't wait to get on Expedition Everest! Not only do you get to see the wonderful siberian tigers, but you also get to learn about them. There are Cast Members here that rattle off all kinds of good information about the big tigers. It's just like a tv show if you listen up. Females give birth to litters of two to six cubs, which they raise with little or no help from the male. Tigers are unbelievably independent and only rely on the male for a few things like consummation. The mother is a big caretaker as cubs cannot hunt until they are eighteen months old or later. Did you know that young tiger cubs remain with their mothers for three years, when they disperse to find their own territory. Of course all this information is in generalities and there might be a few differences in the basic facts. One thing is for certain, they definitely deserve their fearsome reputation. Thank goodness most of the Animal Kingdom tigers avoid humans. They rarely hop the fence to snack on an unsuspecting guest. It only happens once or twice a year!
