Marathon FL for Locals To Do List

Let me give you a few hot options for Marathon Vacations. You can pick the order and this is just what is on my mind today. I always start a Florida Keys Day with the paper (Key West Citizen is more comprehensive). (1) Marathon Lady Party Boat Tour (2) Snorkel at Sombrero Beach (3) Sightseeing on the Island Hopper Heli Tour (4) Sunset Celebrations at the Seven Mile Grill (5) Live Music at The Hurricane. Tomorrow is a new list.

Entertaining Places to see in Marathon

Marathon News Day is a great source with the local events and to do lists. We like the coupons and discounts, as that really determines where we go for happy hour, dinner and drinks.

Dazzling Middle Keys Destinations to Savor

Our day light hours are so busy and we try to do something water based each day. At night, we drink and eat! Here is where to go: Sombrero Dockside Lounge - Hurricane Bar & Grille - Fish Tales Eatery - and for boaters you can go and dock at both Burdines Waterfront and Catch 53.

Paddle Trails along Sister Creek

This afternoon we went Kayaking and it was very nice. We visited The Beach here and it has to be the perfect place to kayak the mangrove system. The sister creek paddle trails are so fun and when the weather is wonderful it is such A Pleasure to do.

Kayaking

Sisters creek winds its way from the Atlantic Ocean to Boot Key Harbor, so do that for sure. Marathon is welcome to all with a kayak. It includes picnic areas, a playground and bathroom facilities. Boot Key Harbor is accessible via two inlets on the atlantic side. The Seven Mile Bridge and Pigeon Key are great and you can take the keysshuttle.com bus to Key West.
