Today is the day to go to the best fun bar in Tampa bay on the waterfront. This is my pick for a good time out where the atmosphere is excellent. You get to look out over the seaport-waterfront where all the boats go by.
Big and small, the boats go cruising through underneath the John's Pass Bridge. You get lots to look at while you are dining or drinking the ice cold beer. This is that cool little sports bar that has a nice live music focus very close to Madeira Beach.
Put it on the list because it's great for the chicken wings with hot sauce. The bartenders are excellent and will hook you up with strong poor cocktails. Do check the schedule for the live music as they play every day but you know there's breaks. I like the sunset music myself. Don't forget to go over to john's pass village.
It's such a huge bar that there is no problem getting a nice spot with good views outside, on patio style seating. We like to pop over on the boat and can use the intercoastal waterway as a wind block, so we do not have to get out in the waves.
This is one full featured bar-restaurant that really packs them in, gator fans and non-fans too. Daily live music is a big part of the restaurant's attraction. Plenty of boat docking spots makes it so easy to pull up for dinner, if you are a boater. My best fun bar in Tampa bay goes to the Gators Cafe at johns pass.
