Things to do in Daytona Beach

What a fun area for the best of watersports and waves. The daylight hours are all about the shoreline and everyone has a body board or even better, a surf board. Body Boarding is so much easier, so rookies that have never seen a wave before can do that. I took lessons last summer and the one hour is all you need to learn how to surf up on the board.

Beach Bars are Everywhere along the Strip

Our pick for happy hours and seafood is Tailgaters Sports Bar and Grill. This is a cool place for beer, booze, wings, salads, and grilled seafood. A really nice place, fun and playful. Has good crowds and live music nightly.

Wet Shoes will save your feet here

You can walk the area and really have fun. Just take your visa with you for shopping and beach bars. You have to have wet shoes, or beach shoes so that you do not get your feet cut up. Plus, you can get in all the places even after you just walk up from the beach.

Zeno's Worlds Most Famous Taffy

That taffy shop is neat and you see them make it. It is Zeno's Worlds Most Famous Taffy over at 1103 Main Street. Good for kids and adults.

Best Beach Trips

Getting ready for the big waves and beach Bicycle Riding is so cool. There is a back way which I will show you to New Smyrna Beach and Daytona via Lake Mary. Neat is Lake Mary boulevard which turns into state road 415 and it takes us to A1A. Tomorrow is the day to have the cell phone on your side all day to answer the call. Look for me to stay at your house tomorrow just to be safe, and plan travel fun to the Atlantic Ocean. Please have your cell phone on all day, even when you walk to the rest room!
