Legend has it there was once a freak snowstorm that blew threw this land. When the snow melted, a local gator began sliding down the mountain slopes and Disney's Blizzard Beach was born. The gator became the park's mascot, and visitors began enjoying the water rides.

Grab a mat and you are on your way to a slipping-n-sliding, downhill flying, and fantastic gliding water slide. You zoom around corners, twist, and turn until you finally cruise into the pool below. Then, it's time to go, go, go. You will want to go again. You won't want the fun to end.

On this ride, four people descend downward together on a giant inner tube, twisting and turning, swooshing and swirling, around bends and over hills. Yes, Teamboat Springs has all the thrills. The ride is fast, flowing, and fun, with lots of laughs for everyone.

You can race against your friends on this ride. There are eight lanes to race on as you fly downhill on a toboggan mat, swoosh through dips, and end with a whitewater splash at the finish line. Yeah! You're the winner! Ok, lets go again.

This is a fantastic ride! You sit on an inner tube, an attendant pushes a button that opens the chute, and then you're off! It's a fast, furious, steep downward drop with a few dips along the way before you come to a stop. You can race against a friend, or race against the clock. It's so much fun! You'll want to go again, you won't want to stop! Downhill Double Dipper Height Requirement - 48 inches.

This huge wave pool with gentle rolling waves will cool you off on a warm, sunny day. You can relax on an inner tube, or splish and splash with family and friends.

An enchanting river ride awaits you, and this lazy river has a few surprises too. As you glide along, you will encounter the park mascot, Ice Gator. You'd better watch out or he'll spray you with cold water. You'll also cruise through a giant cave that contains melting snow that drips down from overhead, so watch out. This lazy river is full of fun and excitement, and few chills too.

This is the Big Kahuna. There is no other ride quite like it. The slide is steep, the ride is super-fast, and the drop is 120 feet. Riders can sometimes reach speeds of 70 miles per hour as they descend downward in this mighty plunge. Summit Plummet Height Requirement - 48 inches.

You ride on a one or two-person inner tube through dips and turns and big water splashes until you breeze into a huge pool at the bottom of the slide. There are three rapids to ride, two with an open slide, and one with an enclosed slide. The enclosed slide is a real thrill, and a whole lot of fun. You go fast through the dark pipe on an inner tube. It is a super exciting downhill run, with twists and turns for everyone.

At 90 feet long, with dips along the way, you will have plenty of air time on this ride as you fly down and away on this fun Disney ride. This body slide swooshes along Mt. Gushmore on a downhill dipping slide that is sure to bring thrills to all who ride. Slush Gusher Height Requirement - 48 inches.

This pre-teen area of the park is loaded with fantastic aquatic attractions. There is a downhill slide for young ones, and an inner tube ride that twists and turns. Kids can hop from ice cube to ice cube in the leisure pool, and swing across the water on a t-bar in the Fahrenheit drops pool.
