Ask Your Question?
Do You Any Experience with Camping in the Florida Keys?
Question?

Q: Good afternoon email recipient. Hope you have got some answers. Camping is the way we were planning on enjoying a vacation down to the Florida Keys. We read some of the boating information on the Keys, and wanted to know if you have any experience or suggestion on nice camping spots down in Monroe County. All right now, that is our pending problem.

All right now, good luck. Your site is bookmarked.

Answer!

A: Come on in, thanks for the question. Here is our thoughts. There is so much to do between Key Largo and the end of US1 in Key West. Most of the camping spots are from Sugarloaf Key to the North. I enjoyed camping at Bahia Honda State Park, as the reefs are close by and you are less than an hour from the Key West Sunset Celebration. It is clean, beautiful, and central to Big Pine, Marathon, and Key West. Alrighty, complete the mission. Signing off.

All right now, on to the next question. Heading out on the bike.

A beautiful area to play, next to Sand Key Beach Park.

A peaceful and relaxing waterfront park scene.

The view of boats and the waterfront are outstanding.

It is big fun with lots of action!
