We always tell people about the famous 428 Greene Street Bar, when they ask for suggestions of neat bar stops on the island. I really do not think most of the people that hit the bar for drinks know the whole history behind it. All of the trolley trains stop by Captain Tony's and make comments regarding its legendary past, you can hear them if you stand out front while you sip on your drink.
