The Best Shopping in Town
Sponge Dock Shop can be overlooked, since this part of town has a zillion things to do and it is tucked slightly off the main pathway. You will not find a better nick-knack zone, making it very playful to browse, touch, and feel all of the exotic goods. I also think you get good deals at the Five Dollar Store and the Strand Theater Market. If you are looking more upscale or needing something decorative for your home, hit Fast Buck Freddies...Just head back up Duval about four blocks or so.

Right across the street is the Roof Top Cafe, which has a bunch of fancy seafood dishes. That what you get in Key West, even nachos can have grilled fish on top. Top picks are Baked Garlic Oysters (Freshly shucked oysters, lime juice, garlic butter, seasoned bread crumbs), Fried Mahi Wrap (Mahi-Mahi filet flash fried, diced tomatoes, onion, lettuce, tarter sauce, black beans, wrapped inside of a flour tortilla), and Conch Chowder (Ground florida keys conch, tomato broth, red-green peppers, onions, celery, potatoes, herbs), Yellowfin Tuna (Grilled with spices, tomato, potato roulade, broccoli, zucchini, rouille sauce).
