Love the shop here at Aventura Mall, I can walk here (the spot I bought my Canon Powershot). They do know there stuff. Miami is just so on top of the camcorder and video market. Nothing is better than shooting some video footage in South Beach Miami! They go topless here you know. Plus the trees and nature are so nice by the water. It is very scenic.

Panasonic hs700 Telephoto Accessories
You were correct...Good call on adding a telephoto lens to the Panasonic HS700. They sell various models on Amazon.com, plus other spots. Only around $30 will get me a 2.0x zoom attachment that uses the 46mm lens screw in type. A 3.0x is also available. This really knocks off one of the weakness of the out of the box HS700 HD Video Camcorder.

Go with XLR balanced connectors for superior audio sound from your Canon Powershot Camcorder. Rode makes a nice one for the 3.5 connection too. It is all about the budget. Audio is two-thirds of a good video!

True, the Wolf Camera is excellent. They dominate the positive feedback in Florida. A top notch operation. Ask them about improving your audio, it will certainly include having an external microphone.
