Mostly our daytime was filled with exploration of both Sanibel and Captiva Islands. We like the tourist spots as they are generally more fun and entertaining. The lighthouse beach park is very nice. Also try Tarpon Bay Explorers, the Famous Sanibel Fishing Pier, the Shell Shack, and the Ding Darling Bike Trail.
