This giant lighthouse has a very cool history. The first one was taken out by a hurricane way back in 1846. So they built this one, using better area and strengthen to last possibly forever! This thing is old and you get to see out just like they did back in the days of ship wrecks and gold bullion. It is all maintained and kept so perfect by the Key West Art & Historical Society.

Conch Fritters on the Tour Ride Those conch fritters are just the greatest. You will see them being sold at retail outlets on the street and in every single restaurant and bar in the Florida Keys. They make really good conch chowder at Atlantic Edge Restaurant Islamorada, out back behind the Cheeca Lodge.
Just off the Cruise Ship Docks is Old Town One gets a halloo of fun and historic stuff too. You just have to see the Truman Annex, Ernest Hemingway House, Audubon House, Old Post Office, Fort Zachary Taylor, and the Truman Little White House. With kids, do not miss the Aquarium and Conch Fritter Cart next door.
