Better Activities Makes a Happy Day The beaches here have really hardpacked sand making it perfect for bicycle riding. I love the waves, it all has to do with this sloping of the coastline which is why they have the huge waves here in Daytona.
The Countdown to Biketoberfest is On! Do not miss Biketoberfest each year in October. This one of the better events to see here in Daytona Beach. It's the perfect Daytona Beach Things to Do, combine the excellent Fall Florida weather, beautiful beach destination, and the best in beach bars.

Summer has Large Daytona Waves We were going to figure out Daytona Beach Area Vacation hotels. Trying to find a nice middle-of-the-road cheapo! There just might be some big waves if one of the storms happens to head that way. That would be something to see.
