An area like this makes a couple of hours of exercise seem like only 15 minutes. We can buzz around on our bicycles for so long in this beachtown. On one end you have Sand Key State Park and Belleair Beach. When you go north up the pathway, cruise through the entertainment district where all the restaurants and bars are located. A little further up, the island turns into residential and has the cutest mansions on the ocean.
Captain Memo's Pirate Cruise Guests return so happy with the Pirate Cruise. They fancy it up with swashbucklers and beer for ransom! The journey is cool, by Sand Key and up the local intercoastal waterway and out into the Gulf. It is fun.
Parking is always open at Sand Key Park We like the bar scene, as you have a nice mix of upscale or barefoot beach bars. Many of the places have one dollar beers for happy hour. Plus they have chicken wings and grilled seafood on sale. Do not forget about the sunset celebration, always a winner. If you have any problems parking at all in Clearwater Beach, there is tons of room over at Sand Key Park.
