Captiva Beach vacations are the best and we come back each and every year. This is a great place for rentals, even if you have indoor focused children. There is so much nature here that it sort of blows you away. We recommend this location and it's easy to get to from the South seas resort. We always start into the wind.

The Best Nature Trip Ever
We saw those little ducks on our kayak trip out. My friend asked me to take some quick photos, but I forgot my digital camera. Nature photography in Lee County makes so much sense. That is a great idea. I did not think about that...I will try tomorrow. The weather was sure a 360 degree turn this weekend. Amazingly, things change so fast here off Pine Island Sound.

Sanibel-Captiva Waterfront
Another great option is found around the corner in Sanibel, called Tarpon Bay Explorers. They have a whole series of marked trails that meander the Tarpon Bay Backcountry. Boat tours are big fun around the islands.
