Thinking back, I believe this is the very best spot we have found for a high quality Florida Beach Vacation. I love it here. The Lago Mar is the real deal for a hotel stay. It beats the West Wind Inn on Sanibel Island because of the bars on the strip. The Marriott in Boca Raton is not even close. However, the Sheraton in Key West could pass them all, and it is just a few weeks away!

Just got back form Fort Lauderdale Beach! Could not say enough good things about this hotel, Lago Mar and the strip area. Wow, all so nice and only five stories. No hustle and bustle. Get the ice for your cooler at the front desk. They have a ice machine about 15 yards from the entrance. Ask on your way out.
