From Billy's you can check out Ding Darling, it is just a bit more inland from the store. This primitive wildlife refuge occupies nearly one-third of Sanibel Island and is a prime spot for nature, marine life, and bird watching. The Ding Darling trail is the best thing around.

Finding the Discounts on the Island There is no better value on the island. Heck, two adults going to a place like the Jacaranda Club, Ellington's, or even the Lazy Flamingo can spend $30 to $50 in an hour or two. A week long bicycle or beach cruiser rental is such a deal relative to the return value. It is a no-brainier! Oh...I have to add my vote to the current blog vote for the best beach, easily it is lighthouse beach park.
