What a picture perfect place to enjoy the water sports and the waves! Our preference is the summer vacations late in the year when things cool down three or four degrees, but the water temperature remains around 85. That way, getting in the water is not a big deal. When you get wet it doesn't feel cold at all and you can jump right in.

The Parking Lot never seems to fill up
This is our top pick for a local beach, with easy parking right next to the restroom area. There's a great little bar not too far away called JBs. They have a nice little happy hour. It is over at 859 Pompano Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, on the bayside waterfront. Also, do not forget your water toys and the boogie board.
