Folkfest is a Good Local Event
Looking forward to the Folkfest Weekend. We love the vibe here on Central Avenue, between 11th & 13th Streets. Kickoff is at 10 am sharp and it lasts all day to 10 pm. Downtown is so nice for a big street festival featuring live bands, food, paintings, sculpture and art of all kinds. Good time here.

Live music at the Saturday morning market
Do not forget about the Saturday morning market. This is where everybody goes from the neighborhood and meets up. Browse a variety of fresh and organic vegetables, sit and eat at the tables, sample gourmet baked goods or prepared foods. We just love all of the plants and flowers too.

Where is the best place to live in St. Petersburg?

We are so glad we moved here and just rave about the area. Probably the number one thing going on is bicycle riding. There are pathways that takes you right along the waterfront all up and down the bay. Many of the homes keep the traditional style, a showcase for the area. We are blessed with so many parks and outdoor recreation opportunities, all walking distance from our house.
