Our Pick for Kayak Fishing
The Matlacha Community Parks is the place for Calusa Blueway kayak launching. It is the easiest of the various locations in Lee County and has free parking for cars without trailers.

Fishingest Bridge in Florida!

The new Matlacha Bridge is a favorite spot and one that makes it easy to fish on windy days. We found about this location during the Calusa Blueway Kayak Festival, which attracts mega of paddlers to the island. We saw all the folks fishing from the bridge and it was told to be the Fishingest Bridge in Florida!
