One of the things people do miss out on here is renting a little boat and taking your guests around for a boat cruise. We did not know that either, but noticed the rental operation (Holidaze Boat Rental) going on during our last trip. We like to eat at Harpoon Harry's Lounge and Bella Luna.

Lunch on the Waterfront
At the far end of the shopping complex is a huge restaurant and bar. I think it is called Punta Gorda on the Water, but not sure. It has seats out back that rest right on the water. Try sitting there, very nice for lunch.

Loves the People in Party Mode
Big local fans of the Laugh Out Loud Shop and the Village Oyster Bar. Friday evenings seem to be one of the more upbeat times, a real party crowd.
