The rooms have a full kitchen
Having a kitchen is great. We need to stop at Bailey's for taco dip - meat, can of corn, onion, salsa, jar of taco sauce, green chillies, black olives, habanero cheese, sour cream, tostidos (not Great Value please)!

CASA YBEL BEACHFRONT

Skip the Landlocked Hotels

With most of the island being on the water, why would you stay at any location that is not beachfront. Maybe if a nice room was under fifty dollars, then jump on that reservation. We have discovered that the hotel prices in Sanibel do not get much lower for non-gulffront. Therefore, we recommend staying by the water for the best of vacation experiences on the island.
