DEMENS LANDING PARK

Free Places for St. Pete Sightseeing

This park just does not get used that much, except when the huge events overflow every inch of Downtown Saint Petersburg. Free parking makes it a sweet day trip destination and you can see so much from the dock area. Picnics are perfect here or walk over and enjoy one of the many outdoor and waterfront cafes that dot the city scene.

Demens Landing Fundraiser Event
We are going to the Martina McBride Show here at the park. They have lots of events here and put up a stage in the middle. This event is called the Dollars for Doorways, a fundraiser for education and scholarships. Good times!

Waterfront entertainment in St. Pete
Yes, the country music vocalist of the year is coming here. Oh, I so much love Martina McBride. She is the best and headlines a night of waterfront entertainment here at Demens Park. She and the performers get most of the money, with leftovers to benefit the Doorways Scholarship Program. She is supposed to be staying at the Don Cesar, because it is her favorite beach, according to the newspaper.

A Well Conceived Downtown District
Finding Scenic Waterfront Parks in Tampa Bay is what we like to do on the weekends. The area and park are nice for day trips, plus there is lots to see on your bicycle rides though the downtown and waterfront area. This city is put together just right.
