Enjoying the Laid-back Sophistication in Sanibel, Nature Sanctuaries, Hit the Park

As soon as you cross over the Causeway Boulevard Bridge, your eyes will light up at the captivating beauty of Sanibel Island. This terrific island getaway is popular for honeymoons, weddings, and family vacations. The island has a rich mixture of accommodations, from quaint bungalows, to modern resorts filled with luxurious amenities. Sanibel's nature surrounds you, as more than half of the island has been nicely preserved, intermixed with beaches, parks, and bike paths to it all.

	Sanibel's beaches are wonderful, and most of the hotels and resorts are beachside. Mid-island is Bowman's beach, a nice spot if you desire a more secluded and private beach area.
	The area is buzzing with boating. The waterways from Fort Myers Beach, through Pine Island Sound, and up to Boca Grande, are some of the top boating spots in all of Florida.

	The nature, park areas, and the views around Sanibel are outstanding.
	The Marina is perfect to checkout the boats, while enjoying the yummy seafood at Gramma Dot's Seaside Saloon.
	Be sure to venture off the main roads, as the island has lots of special places to explore.
	Behind the sightseeing cruise boat is the skyline of Fort Myers Beach.
	Another popular beach area is Lighthouse Beach.
