Checking out Tampa Bay, Waterplay in St. Pete, Big Smiles for All

What a spot for wonderful boating activities, with a backdrop of Downtown St. Petersburg. That is exactly what you get at this beautiful city park. Demen's Landing is located right in the heart of the city, just to the south of the Vinoy Renaissance Hotel and Vinoy Park. Demen's Landing plays host to numerous outdoor festivals such as Shakespeare in the Park, is right on the parade route, and a great spot to watch St. Petersburg's various firework displays.

	You would be surprised that so few people actually know of this great boat ramp. And the boating around St. Pete is great!
	We love hang to out in the boat during the music festivals held at Vinoy Park and enjoy the great views of the city.
	You will find all sorts of big boats and sailing vessels around since the ramp is right next to the prestigious St. Pete Yacht Club.
	While you are enjoying the scene, drop a line or toss the cast net. Pinellas County switched to reclaimed water about 10 years ago and Tampa Bay's fish population has skyrocketed.
	It is a city park, with a playground area and a bunch of picnic pavilions.
	The sailing center is located on Demen's Landing, a great place to get certified in sailing in just one weekend.
	Once you visit you might think about selling your real estate and buying a big live-aboard boat!
	The famous pier is here, and you can pull up your boat and tie off...then have dinner or drinks at the Columbia, Captain Al's, or Cha Cha Coconuts.
	Parking is limited and can be a problem on the weekends. However, overflow parking is available around Progress Energy Park.
	This is a really nice area for biking, walking, and sightseeing.
