Our Trip to Boca Grande, Waterside Restaurants, Loving the Beach

Nothing could be finer than a vacation or weekend getaway to fabulous Boca Grande. This island retreat has everything that a couple or family could ask for. Boca has an upscale look, but with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that is so inviting. Catering to bikes and golf cart travel, cart paths run through the entire island. What a fun way to get around! And the water here is just as clear and breathtaking as in the Florida Keys. It is this water that created a boating, fishing, and beach lovers dream vacation spot!

	It is fabulous fun to boat around Boca Grande. You don't need to bring a boat either, as there are plenty of boat and kayak rentals available.
	The seawater around Boca Grande is nearly as clear and identical in color to the water in many swimming pools.
	Golf cart travel is the norm in Boca Grande, just the coolest way to travel the island.

	Boats cruise around the island and add to the scenery. This area is very popular for tarpon fishing.
	As you explore the area in your golf cart, or on your bicycle, you will see unique waterfront homes that line the beaches and waterways of this picturesque island.
	The village of Boca Grande does an excellent job of catering to families. Also, don't miss Gasparilla Island State Park.
	The Gasparilla Inn and Club is a classic retreat dating back to 1913. Presidents, dignitaries, and many fine vacationers have visited this stately resort.
	This is one of two historic lighthouses located on the island.
